We all know that what most moms really want is some damn sleep, a clean house, and our favorite latte delivered to us while we wait under the covers in our quiet bedroom. Cost? A few bucks, if the Valentine hits up the coffee shop instead of making coffee at home. Perfection.
There are some of us (not me, but damn I wish) who have a babysitter lined up, so that we can enjoy a nice dinner and good conversation with our other half. Amazing.
And there are some of us willing to admit that we wouldn’t mind a little somethin’ somethin’ from our partners that’s just for us on the annual day of love.
A freaking bathtub tray! I’d be too scared to drop my iPad in the water when a toddler decided to join me, but I’d risk a paperback book or magazine to enjoy this beauty. Plus, a cupholder for wine, or coffee.
Delicious bath bombs. (Pair them with that tray above if you’re feeling fancy.)
This wineglass for obvious reasons. Momming definitely ain’t easy.
And maybe something to go in that wineglass.
You really can’t go wrong with fancy chocolate. None of that drugstore crap allowed.
And last, but absolutely not least, a damn massage set. This is especially awesome if you have a babysitter, but babysitter not required. (Warning: Two-thirds of my children are a result of “just a backrub,” so purchase at your own risk.)
(Of course, if that’s too much, you can always DIY with a personal massager. Ahem.
